Star and moviemaker Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson publicly declared Wednesday that Blunt is on to embark the action-adventure story, which begins shooting in May.

"I'm so thrilled to greet the remarkable, the extremely gifted and the gorgeous Emily Blunt to Jungle Cruise," Johnson said.
