Gaib Sagar lake this year had the bird fair arranged and it was a sure hit as it has to be. Who doesn't love animal safari and then watching such colorful creatures making beautiful sounds and doing very cute stuff is just a heavenly feeling? Jodhpur is the prime location for the tourist to visit in terms to explore the flora and fauna.
Every year the village known as Khichan hosts more than thirty thousand cranes and that really huge but this year there were eighty thousand and that has raised many brows all over.
You can spot more than two hundred and fifty spices of the bird in the state such as steppe eagle, Punjab raven, Egyptian vulture, Eurasian griffon rosy starling, purple moorhen, white pelican, grey heron, shoveled, pochard etc.
A desert can be the home for many and it is not only for all of us but for these birds too. For those who are unaware of the fact Rajasthan is having the last bird century of the nation and it actually welcomes them every year during this period of the year. Colorful wings, different sounds and little offsprings along them seems to be as if they all are here for winter vacation and this is their favorite spot for the year-end and to welcome the new year.
Their this contribution to the economy of the state is marvelous as tourism is growing as people are getting aware of this specialty of the state.
